Phase 1: Alignment

Phase 3: Closing Spaces and Refinement

The last thing we do before removing the brackets is make small refinement adjustments to obtain a perfect final result. When the result is the desired one, we proceed to remove the device.

Phase 4: Retention

Remember that teeth tend to move back to their initial position; therefore, it is advisable to place retainers to prevent this.

There are two types: Fixed, which consists of a small wire that is placed behind the teeth and cannot be seen or felt; and removable, which consists of transparent, custom-made splints that are placed during sleeping hours.
